Consumerinfo.com - CIC Credit Monitoring - Experian Lying unauthorized credit card charges ripoff Orange California

I bought a one-time credit report for $5.00 in April 2004. In September 2004, my bank called to ask if I had authorized a monthly payment to CIC as other customers were complaining. I learned that my credit card had been charged $8.95 each month since April, a charge I had not authorized.

I spoke with 2 different "Customer Service" reps who denied that I had ever been charged at all. I had the CC statements in front of me but, it was like talking to someone who couldn't understant English! When I finally talked to a CS supervisor, I was told that the charges were "non-refundable". Tough luck!

This has been the most unethical and underhanded operation I have ever been involved in and I want my $35.80 refunded.
