Credit Report.com Co had me go through 3 others before I got my Free credit reports with charges for each Internet

I tried to use CreditReport.com to supposedly get a free copy of my credit report from the three reporting agencies. I could not get through to the report until I had gone through three different windows. (1)Privacy Matters Identity (2)Credit Diagnosis (3)Identity Diagnosis.

I finally got a copy of the reports, from My Credit Health.com but while printing them off My Credit Card Co called me from their Fraud Dept to see if I had just charged $1 to each of these organizations. I thought I was using Credit Report.com and did'nt mine paying three dollars for the report.

I knew that I would have seven days to cancel the origional company menbership and I planned to do that since I didn't want to use them every month, mediately call and cancelled the names I had been given re the charges. I have cancellation numbers from them all now.

During the call to my credit card company, I requested that my credit card be cancelled and am waiting for a new credit card so I won't be billed again for monthly charges, but in the meantine who knows who all has my personal information. I wasn't sure how else to avoid unauthorized use of the old credit card.
