    Corporate Advocacy Program
Took advantage of the gov't approved free credit report. Did not authorize any charges or provide my credit card information for that purpose. Experian used (abused) their access to my financial information by helping themselves to my credit card information to begin charging me monthly. I reported them to the Visa fraud division for corrective action.

DO NOT USE EXPERIAN UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET RIPPED OFF!!!

Well guess what....

AUTHOR: Robert - Rochester (U.S.A.)

You went to the wrong web site for your free credit report.

You went to freecreditreport.com What you wanted was ANNUALCREDITREPORT.COM.

The clue was that they ask you for your credit card info. Furthermore, on the very first page of freecreditreport, it says, in very clear language that you will be enrolled in their program.

it also says:

"ConsumerInfo.com, Inc. and Freecreditreport.com are not affiliated with the annual free credit report program. Under a new Federal law, you have the right to receive a free copy of your credit report once every 12 months from each of the three nationwide consumer reporting companies. To request your free annual report under that law, you must go to www.annualcreditreport.com."

You need to learn to read. You didn't get ripped off, you got what you signed up for.
