Robert Colclough, attorney Allied Collection Services, in cahoots with a compny we've never heard of to say we owe them money Van Nuys, California

My husband applied for a loan and found a negative item on his credit report.  It was the first time we had ever heard of this outfit, Allied Collections, which is somehow connected with Robert Colclough, attorney.  They say my husband bought a boom box on ebay from some outfit called Gene Ebert Sales.  Neither my husband or I has ever heard of Gene Ebert Sales, nor have we ever purchased anything by ebay, and certainly wouldn't do it without using PayPal.  They say we owe over $180 now.  The agency wasn't at all helpful.  They still haven't sent us promised information about their agency or the alleged creditor.  We can't contact this bogus creditor because we don't have their contact information.  Allied Collections wouldn't give it to us over the phone.  This is all bogus, and affected our credit by about a hundred points.  We have filed fraud reports and instituted investigations through the credit reporting agencies, but we're not sure how this will be resolved.
