American Credit Educators Attempted Ripoff based on credit report entry challenge Denver Colorado

Ladies/Gentlemen;

In October of 2005, after reviewing my credit and finding errors that had been overlooked by hospitals that had treated me, I contested a charge of $300.95.
This challenge was done through Experian, a national credit agency. I was informed by Experian that they would submit the challenge to the original billing parties, which I assume they had done. November 10, 2005 I received a letter from "ACE", or American Credit Educators that they had been hired to collect these funds.

The challenge included the fact that the hopital, Thunderbird Samaritan Hospital, Phoenix, AZ had me fill out forms and had informed me The Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System would be billed for this because I was not working. I never received a bill from the hospital, but now have been delegated for collection from American Credit Educators, evidently, because the hospital failed to submit forms. I purchased medicine and saw doctors with the use of my AHCCCS account AFTER I was treated at the hospital, which indicates the account was in order.

I personally do not care that they are trying to harrass me because the hospital's administration failed to do it's job, but I refused them payment once and gave them my AHCCCS account number when they called me in June of 2005, now they have appointed a collection agency which "The Rip Off Report" has listed for ripping off other consumers.

If this does no good to get them to resubmit the charges properly I will be taking it to legal assistance in Phoenix, AZ and submitting a charge of harrassment against the hospital, "ACE" and anyone else who tries to collect on this matter. This is highly unethical and needs to be brought to other consumer's attention
