Free Credit Reports 360 After answering each question they said "protected my privacy" , their answer back was "unable to verify"! Thus I got no credit report! Dallas Texas

Dec. 5, 2008: Having been recommended by my bank to apply for my credit report, which I supposedly allowed each year, I went to the website for Free Credit Reports 360. I found that it was not free to sign up, but that I would be refunded the fee for "membership" if (after receiving my credit reports) I cancelled within 7 days. The site was listed as a "secure site" and I listed my credit card number. My email address was asked for several times, and after each time, I had to hit the "Accept" box. Then when I thought I was going to see my credit report, there were more questions to answer, e.g. address, employer, a credit card #, etc. After each question I answered, they returned a written comment of "unable to verify" then locked me out, saying that they could not verify my identity, so "we are unable to display your credit report online at this time", and would have to send me a "Tracking Code". Obviously, all my answers were true and accurate. Since I am a widow, I am greatly concerned!

You might want to cancel your credit card asap...they WILL try to charge you.
I hope you did not give out your social security # online...if you did, you opened yourself wide open to identity theft. Monitor your credit reports for the next 4 months to be on the safe side.

The annual credit reports are free. However if you also want to get your credit score there is a charge for that.
If you want a copy of your credit report you could go to a local lender and ask if you could purchase one through them.
