Towards the later part of 2009 I acquired the services of Lexington law, I was told the initial fee was in the area of $100 some odd dollars. They requested me to follow several steps to acquire my credit reports and they would review them and give me a further opinion of what my case involved. I complied and after they received the copies of the credit reports I was told my case was simple and since I only had 2 negative things on my report it would be very easy and also, not costly.
I was quoted a time frame of three months and the initial fee and three months payments, three months passed and to no avail my credit report remained the same. When I called to question the service I was told that they found a school loan on my credit report, and to make another payment and they would investigate it as I told them I had no student loan since 1981. I never heard anything from them and when I called they would always begin with the payment was due again and that I needed to remit it.
I am not disputing they have a good or maybe even excellent business but in my case they received the initial fee from me and 3 to 4 months payments and the so-called quick easy, and not costly service I was promised was non existent. No business should give anyone a specific quote for service and then take the clients money and not provide the service. That is my point, I put up my money you opened your mouth as to the type of services you offered and you were negligent in providing the services.
