Liberty Credit Managment Took $10,000 and paid nothing, and because of bad advice ruined our credit Irvine, California

Liberty Credit arranged a settlement payment to pay our credit. They took $10,000 and did not pay one bill in 3 months.

With collectors calling everyday, the advice was to turn off our phone.

They advised us NOT to pay our payments while they were NEGOtiatING. We eventually then received money from a relative and paid our own debt.

Now. due to those 3 missed payments on ALL accounts, our credit is ruined! This was in 2008 and we still cannot get a car loan, a house refinanced from our 9% interest rate, we are not able to sign for our children's college loans, we cannot get anything.

WE HAVE NEVER NOT PAID A PAYMENT BEFORE LIBERTY OR AFTER. It is a travesty and the credit bureau is saying these will not come off for a long time.
