MNI Credit Report Services MNI Credit Report Services is stealing from me every month... Unauthorized credit card use! California

On July 7, 2008 I received my credit card statement. I noticed 2 unfamiliar charges from "MNI*CREDITRPT SERVICES." Both charges were for $11.95 each and were billed on the same day. Not knowing who this was, I dialed the number provided on my statement. The company was closed at the time and their voice mail stated they were "creditreport.com."

I then pulled out my old credit card statements and learned that they have been "double" billing me $11.95 a month for the past three months totaling $71.70. I have never been to their website before this nor have I requested a credit report. I have not given this company my credit card number and/or any authorization to bill me.

I have filed a complaint with the FTC and have contacted my credit card company and am waiting to speak with their fraud department.

If someone around me were to steal my credit card and use it without my knowledge they would be arrested yet (from my readings) this company has been getting away with this since 2000. From all of the postings I have read online this has been happening to so many people and for so long that something needs to be done.
