My Credit Group - MyCreditGroup.com Waste of Money for "Credit Repair" San Marcos California

Do not use this company. They will file simple dispute letters that you can do on your own, and charge $69 a month to do it. They have a clause in their contract that states that if they can get any improvement in your credit report, you do not get money back. This is how they are able to protect themselves.

They are incapable of making wise decisions on credit repair and will beat a dead horse repeatedly without any results, never changing course. Even if you direct them and let them know what needs to be done, they will keep sending out the same type of letter that no longer gives positive results.

They refuse to provide the customer with copies of the letters (which, as anyone who does research on credit repair can tell you, can prove necessary in the future). Why can't they provide even electronic copies of the letters for a $69/mo fee? Because they are taking advantage of people and know that if copies of the letters were provided the consumer would see that they are sending the same letters over and over and this is why they are not producing results.

Do not spend money with this company.

My friend paid the $99 start up fee and then cancelled withing the specified time, only to have not yet received her money back two months later. If they have to hold on to $99 that should tell you about the nature of the company.

I repeat... do NOT spend money with this company.
