On Feb 24, 2005, MyPerfectCredit.com fraudulently charged my Mastercard $9.95 for service that I never ordered. I just discovered it today.

3 years ago, I had an account with ClearCredit.com and closed it due to ripoff charges by that company. The customer DIS-service representative advised me that MYPERFECTCREDIT recently acquired ClearCredit.com, and decided to re-open all closed accounts.

After 3 hours of attempted phone calls to Customer DIS-service, being hung up on me 3 times, she finally directed me to go through a routine that would cost me more than $9.95 in order to ATTEMPT to recover the money.

I reported fraud to Capital One credit card services, who PROMPTLY credited my account and took a fraud report by their 800 number, as well as canceled the card as stolen.
