RCS Center Corporation ripoff phone scam AT&T fake bill, I am very curious to see what is really going on with this company. Brookfield Wisconsin

For months now, we have been getting recorded messages on our answering machine that start, "Hello! We tried to reach you today. It is important that you return our call ..." and then leaves a 1-800 call back number, 1-866-877-0008, but never says the name of the company of what they are calling for. The caller ID says "Union City, NJ, 201-210-3618".

We tried calling back many many times and just got a recording that did not say the name of the company and never went through to a live operator. It all seemed very suspicious, but hard to figure, since we could never reach a live person.

A month or so ago, a live person called and that same NJ number came up on the caller ID. The person had an Indian accent and asked for a person who does not live here. My wife said nobody by that name lives here and the person hung up, but we continued to get the recorded messages on our machine.

Today, a live person called again, this time a man with an Indian accent. I pretended to be the person they were looking for and they said I owed $262.98 in unpaid AT&T bills. I asked the man's name and he said "Sean Michaels." I asked him the name of his company and he said RCS Center Corporation. I asked him for information about the company but he got very defensive and was very reluctant to transfer me to his supervisor, which he finally did. She said her name was "Salina Matthews." I told her what had been happening with the phone calls and she got very angry and defensive. I finally got her to give me the address listed above for RCS Center Corporation.

She promised to take me off the phone list, but I just got curious and went on the web and saw all these reports. So I called back, 201-210-3618, and lo and behold, someone answered, a man again with an Indian accent. I asked to speak to his supervisor who said his name was "Steven Jones." I asked who the president of the company was and he said he couldn't tell me. I asked who his supervisor was and he said "Max Carter."

I am very curious to see what is really going on with this company.
