I too was a victim of their scam. I recieved a letter from Briux Associates; dated August 1, 2007. I did nothing with this until today and I deposited it into my bank. I called the number prior to depositing the check. I asked a number of questions, he used such a thick accent that made it so very hard to decipher.

I called after the deposit and he was insisting that i go directly to a money gram and send $1960.00 to him befor the balance of $67,000.00 will come by courier.

The address he provided was different than on the letter.

I notified my bank about this matter. I am hoping that these people will be severly punished. Is their any punishment for these types of scams?
