Briux Associates Scamming Innocent American Families. Toronto, Ontario

My wife and I received this letter and check in the mail from this company out of Canada stateing my wife won $67,000.00, and all we had to do was deposit the check that was in the amount of $2492.44 and call them back around 24-48 hours after the dposite to be informed on hw to take care of the taxes on the remaining balance of the winnings.

I found this a little funny, so I had my wife call the number that was provided in the letter, first off the accent was so thick she could barely understand him. But John (The rep from the company) told my wife to deposite the check and call back in 24-48 hours and et the final details. I found this even more strange, so I had my wife call back with a few more questions.

At this time John told her after the time had one by after the deposite, she needed to Western Union $2292.44 to a Vanesse Wood in Montrell Canada. That was leaving $200.00 out of the check which I figured was to cover the cost of Western Union.

For some reason none of this added up to me, so I met with my attorney today on this, and he felt it was a fake. Now after finding theses other folks out here with the same deal I am glad I was real hesitant to do anything with the check. I feel that a powerfull attorney needs to pick this up and lets go after these rip offs. They are going after innocent american families.
