Received a postal mail purporting to be from C&C Services Inc., allegedly retained by Publishers' Clearing House to distribute notices to sweepstakes winners. Enclosed was a bogus check (although it looked "valid", but the bank's website was misspelled, and part of the watermark was missing.) for $3500. Requested in the letter was to call a Toronto, Ontario number (647 area code), and wire $2988.10 via Western Union / Moneygram.

Letter was "signed" by "Vernon Kimberly", with photo.

US Postal Inspection Service report was filed.
