I go this large brown envelope in the mail today 9/2/08. with a "Certified Bank Check" and cover letter Stating I won some sweepstakes ( i never heard of).
The check looked Bogus since "certified checks" usually have a Bank stamp and are issued from a related Companies namk account. This check is from some cable mfgr in Mo.

I am a sceptic from the start. Unless Publishers Clearing House Van is in front of my door, I don't believe anything. I'm going to Bank of America with the check to confirm its a fake, then to the Postmaster and FBI since its International Mail fraud. I just hope the phone numbers are tracable.
