Kodjo & Co Lome-Togo Letter from a dead relative Lome Togo

Got a letter from these scambags stating that this was a lawyer firm in Lome Togo representing someone with the same last name that died in a car crash with his daughter and wife. I have seen enough legal papers to know any lawyer worth his salt would at least spell check a document before sending it out, so I was sure it was bogus.

They use the firm name "kodjo & Co (legal practitioners)" and said there was "funds" held by "Security Finance Company valued at $10.5M (U.S. Dollars)". Micheal Jean esq signed the letter and included a UK phone number.

Realizing it was BS, I have not pursued the matter further. I included my comments here after googleing the legal practitioners name and country. I saw a link to this site and thought if I could help someone else from being fooled by these guys, all for the better.

Report # 112861 seems to have the exact themes and threads to the story; car crash, wife and daughter killed with him. And the same law firm. I am certainly surprised they went through the trouble of mailing me this letter for what is obviously a scam. I am curious as to how much money in postage they wasted sending all of them out.

I am keeping the letter and envelope in case any authorities are interested in seeing them or using as evidence.
