Liberty Trust Financial Corporation - Aimgold United Corp. sent us phoney check Ottawa ontario Canada

on 8/22/07 i had recieved a check in the mail along with a letter stating that i had won a lottery along with 20 other individuals and to call mike or sandy to claim the winnings so i called and mike had stated to cash the check since i had no bank account and buy a pre paid visa and call him back with the visa and he would release funds in the amount of 125,000.00 us dollars via fed-ex the refference#of ltx/733569257 and batch #55246 ticket#743-2876-634 with serial#5432-46 appear on the letter also the check was written on synovus bank of tampa bay with a address of 333 third avenue north st. petersburg fl. 33701 check#21201404 the bank is real but cannot release any info on accounts due to security reasons which should be changed due to fraud like this.they stated to me to cash it and see if the check was real or not which i did not do i contacted the home office of the bank finally and they after several calls finally told me the check was a fraud. and to destroy it which i did. but i still have the letter and the 4 pieces of the 3,850.00 check.i feel mike and sandy need to pay the victims the cash they promised.p.s. the thing that made me leary was there was no return address on the envelope just a 93 cent canadian stamp. and they said to keep the winnings quite. my reply NOT A CHANCE CRIMINALS.
