My husband also received two checks in the mail from two different companies. One check for $2,990.90 from Citibank, the other from Commerce Bank in the amount of $2,985.15. Both letters stated he won a cruise and combined US Dollar winnings of over $58,000.00. Of course we thought this was to good to be true. We called both banks that the checks were endorced from. There is a major scam going on and these people need to be stopped. We even called the cruise lines. The letters mention highly known companies like Reader Digest and Publishers clearing house. The letter also states that the check enclosed if from one of the Financial Sponsors payable to you.

I did call the phone number listed. No one answered and the answering machine only stated the phone number I called.
