I recieved a letter with no return address. I open it and seen that there was a check for 4500 dollars and a letter stating that I've won 250,000 dollars from a sweapstake. At first I didnt pay the letter no mind but then I decided to call Larry Smith my agent to hear what I have to do. He said that I would have to deposited the check my bank and take almost 4000 of it to money gram to pay four my taxes on the 250,000. At first I was going to do that but the check didn't seem right. I did a little researching about the company and where the check was from and these rip off reports came up. I'm glad I did researching before i deposited the check because I could of got into a lot of trouble.

As an employee of Corvette Country, I'd like to take the time to make it clear that we are also victims of this scam, not perpetrators. We are the victims of Identity theft, and our account information has been used to create the fraudulent checks that have been sent out as part of this scam.
Our company lost money before our bank's fraud department realized what was happening and we have lost countless hours answering phone calls, responding to emails and writing letters that have nothing to do with our business. Corvette Country is a used car dealership specializing in Chevy Corvettes and other Sports cars, and we are not involved with any sort of lottery or prize drawings.
