I want to thank you for providing this information about this scam. I called the ph# 617-219-4582, Frank Webber, as directed in the letter. The day I called I got a recording that said to call back another time. I was unable able to leave a voicemail. The next morning I get a phone call from them!! !! The man's voice on the phone spoke broken English and I could hear baby crying in the background. I was directed to deposit the check and then call back so they could send a check for the balance of the money, and I would receive tax information from my assigned Agent, Frank Webber, so I could pay the taxes in the amount of $2,998.00 by Western Union or Moneygram. I was also advised to not share the claim number with anyone. This all seemed just too good to be true and HAD to do some research first! Always, always know that if it's too good to be true, it probably isn't, and always check the validity of the organization. Thank you.
