Email stated she was a yorkie terrier puppy breeder in Bealeton, Virginia. It said Yorkie puppies ready to go for $400.00. We emailed back and forth and I was sent some pictures to pick a puppy. Picked a puppy and emailed information back & forth. On 2-13-09 I sent the supposedly breeder $400.00 through Western Union (with a $42.00 fee) for the price of the puppy and air fair.

On 2-14-09 I received an email from a place called e-pet-express1 stating I needed to Western Union them $640.00 for pet and flight insurance for the puppy. The company for the insurance is VPI insurance. I look it up on the internet and it's a real business. Emailed back to the breeder and she assured me this was all refundable when the puppy was delivered. They would give me a check for $620.00 ($20.00 for their expenses) at time of delivery. I sent money through Western Union, the $640.00 plus 58.99 fee, to the breeder to have her take it to the delivery place. The e-pet-express1 gave me an address at the Douala International Airport in a country called Cameroon as their main office and I decided it would be safer to send it to the breeder. She took it to e-pet-express1.

The following day on 2-15-09 I receive another email from e-pet-express1 saying I needed to rent an electronic cage for the puppy for warmth and safety reasons on the flight. In the meantime I'm worried about this puppy being in a crate for the last 2 days waiting to be shipped at e-pet-express1. I email my breeder again and she tells me it is better I do this so the puppy is safe and does not die from the cold in the bottom of the plane and that it is fully refundable at delivery also. I sent another $650.00 ($58.99 fee) to my breeder who in turn pays for the crate.

Last night (2-16-09) I get an email from e-pet-express1 stating everything has been taken care of and the puppy is in transit from Virginia to Missouri and will be flown out to Colorado this morning. I write an email to e-pet-express1 this morning regarding her flight. They say she's in Missouri being checked over by their Vet then she'll be on her way. I got ripped off big time in a total amount of close to $2,000.00 and really don't expect a puppy to arrive today.
