I received a notification in the mail that I was one of 20 winners of a Shoppers Sweepstakes held on 4/5/2008, and my share was $250,000. Enclosed was a check for $4890.00 drawn on South Carolina Bank and Trust, Lady's Island, SC. I was asked to call a number before depositing the check, in order to make arrangements to wire $2985.00 to cover the taxes on my winnings.
