I recieved a phone call Dec, 10 2008 at 9:18 am. It was fro a jamaican man named "Mr.Washington" claiming to be with UPS. He told me I had won $25,000 and a 35' Flat screen TV from Publishers Clearing House. Mr.Washington proceeded to ask me questions such as my marriage status, kids, liscence, etc. I asked him what is the catch he said nothing, this is %100 guarantee no catch.
Wellllll later on in the conversation he asked me to send a $65.00 western union to some lady named Donna, and that is just insurance for my packages which will arrive at my house in 2 and a half hours fromt he time she recieves the money order. I asked what was up with the insurance and he said it is to protect the postal service. The IRS makes them do it. I told him I was going to call him back to verify the information he told me (which also included checking out PCH.COM) When I went to the PCH website I got the customer service number and called them and they told me it was a fraud and completed a questionare over the phone about this situation.
Afterwords for shiggles I called the man back and asked for some information on where to send this Western Union, he replied to Donna, I asked Donna who, he replied "well thats what we call her here, her real name is Eaflean Cotton. She will call you when shes off the road to tell you where to send it" I said what is the address he said I will be sending it to Texas but she will give me the Address" I asked him what his full name was and he said "James Washington" afterwords I explained to him I called PCH and they told me he was a scam, he replied "Well, I can have Donna call you and assure you this is not a scam." I told him thats fine, but needles to say I have not recieved a phone call from "Donna" I plan on filing a police report I think.
