I was contacted by Nikki Vecchio in August of 2008 stating that she was with there legal department following up on a complaint of Global Marketing. Global was misrepresenting itself and they were hired to clean up the mess and get our timeshare sold. She would not contact us if she did not have a buyer lined up.

We had points with this timeshare as well which she said would be sold seperately.

She said that if we wanted she had a buyer for our other timeshare that she would sell and not charge us any more money to sell.

I was given a guarenteed close date of Sept 24 for the first timeshare and points and Sept 26 for the second timeshare as well as a direct number to contact her anytime to check on the status of the sale.

I contacted Nikki numerous times and was given different excuses.n October 29 I called Nikki and spoke to her asst. She informed me that one of the properties was sent to title search 1 1/2 weeks ago and the other 2 weeks ago. This process would take 30-45 days. Financing was secure and a deposit was recieved.

November 21, 2008 when contacted I was told they had gone to deeding and payment processing and this was the final step. Another 3-4 weeks.

December 10, 2008 Another 1-2 weeks Mid January Nikki informed me that the owner of the Company had died and that she would be personally take the papers over to financing the following Monday. That was the last contact I had with her. Her direct line now states that she is not associated with Universal Marketing.
