Carnival Cruise Ships ripoff the worst vacation and it was our honeymoon mistreated and ripped off Miami Florida

We will never go on another cruise again,it is not worth the money.Four cans of beer $16.We arrived early around 2:30pm are luggage did not get to are room till 6pm dinner reservations were at 6:15pm,you have to be dressed up for ths main dinning room so we ate in the cafeteria.When we did go to the main dinning second & third night never saw the host,but on the last day there was an envelope for his tip.

The only eating 24 hours like they advertise is pizza.Breakfast and dinner if you are late to bad only pizza.

Big sale at the liquor store cannot take to your room they delivered on the last day.They tell you after you pay for it.

The servers are all foreigners and rude.Forgot my towel on deck,reported it to my steward he said no problem we find them in the laundry room,never received mine was charged $40.

Third day on deck we were not allowed to have a chair,but there were a dozen people with chairs they said it was to windy.So I sunbathed on the hard floor,till some young babes came up and were given chairs after us that was it we video taped this bullshit going on.

Orderd room service they never came.I can go on but it just brings back bad memories.

some sympathy for you until you complained about the foreigners

What do you expect? So you paid $16 for 4 beers...what's the problem? You think cruise ships make their money on price of the trip? Do you have any idea what it costs to operate a floating city filled with a thousand hungry people? Cruise lines make their money on the casino, the bar, the gift shops, and the optional excursions. Do you complain when you spend $5 for a box of popcorn at the movie theater that costs 10 cents to make?

I did feel some sympathy for you until you complained about the foreigners that work on the ship. Most of these people are from dirt-poor third world countries and send every nickel they make to their families. Maybe the petty complaints of an over-indulged slob just seem so....petty.

I read this letter, and I can't believe this person went on a cruise with out checking on things like this. If I had been his TA, I would have told him about the towels, robes, dinner times, luggage arrivals, drink prices, food outlets & times, deck chairs and every other complaint they had.

I might be a TA, but I still checked out everything I could, so that I can tell clients what to look for, and to watch out for, but this person sounds like they were looking for someone to stand there, feed them grapes, fan them the entire day and massage their feet...all while speaking perfect english.

WISE UP !!!

The second person had it right, the cruise lines make their money by selling you things after you get on the ship.

Perhaps being more open-minded might help

My husband and I just returned from our honeymoon aboard the Carnival Cruise Lines and we couldn't have been more pleased. We were well-aware of the company policies ahead of time and were prepared for the additional costs. Since we were on our honeymoon, we didn't think that it was neccessary to blow $200 a day on alcohol to have a good time. There are so many other things included.

The "foreigners" you talked of would probably kill for an opportuntity to take a week off being pampered and catered to. My suggestion to you would be to be more prepared and well-read before you complain and try being a little more open-minded and less of an "ugly-American".

well thats great and people from other places are great too. unless you need help and they dont understand you. if you leave from the u.s. and your customers are from the u.s. then speak english. and mr. travel agent most peoples honeymoons are purchased by some one else. so not knowing this stuff is common might want to do a little reading on this rip off report and a little less writing.  im with you carnival is no place for a honeymooner, its called class carnival cruise line get some. as for you people who write rebutals its a bad thing what carnival does i dont know why you defend them you should do some investigation on how they get there employees. or how they run there ships this is america have some pride hire americans.
