My wife and I recently booked a cruise on Norwegian Cruise Lines through Travelocity.com. We had intended to use a $100 per cabin NCL discount coupon which was obtained from the 2005 Entertainment book. However, NCL denied the use of the coupon because Travelocity buys group space and the use of the coupon is not allowed. There are no exceptions which support this stated in the fine print on the coupon. I called NCL to complain about their misleading tactics but to no avail.

Sounds like cheapskate syndrome to me !

AUTHOR: Peter - Pony (U.S.A.)

If you wanted to use a "Norwegian Cruise Line Coupon" then you should have booked your trip through "Norwegian Cruise Line." Common sense here!

You chose to book your trip through a DISCOUNT travel company AND try to take advantage of the discount coupon. You can't have it both ways, my friend, no sir-ee.

Next time try to follow some decent common sense and don't be such a cheapskate. There was no rip-off here, unless you count yourself trying to rip-off the cruise line by double-dipping into the honey pot.
