Cruises-N-More did not honor their deal, cutting the onboard credit (OBC) from $205 to $138. I gave them multiple opportunities to make good on the $67 both before and after the cruise but they refused.
I requested a quote for a cruise using the CruiseCompete website. In my request for quotes, I specified the coupons and discounts I intended to use. Here is what I wrote in my request:
PLEASE NOTE - intend to use 50,000 RCCL Visa points ($500 off cruise), have a NextCruise already booked with $200 down (and possibly $100 OBC), eligible for Diamond balcony discount of $200. Wish to use best combination of discounts to secure lowest final price.
Here is what Cruises-N-More wrote in their offer:
BIG BONUS: Every booking comes with a $205 and $205 OBC for Balcony and D2 port rear cabins respectively. Which can be used for drinks, tips, shore excursions and more. Also pay a 50% Reduced Deposit. We are the only Cruise Compete Agency that has the BEST PRICE PROMISE. Call for details!
Ultimately, I used the 50,000 RCCL Visa points and the $200 Diamond balcony discount. Once I used the discounts, Cruises-N-More informed me that they would only give me a $138 OBC due to the reduction in cruise fare because I used the discounts - the very discounts I specified in my request for quote.
Multiple calls, and talks with a supervisor only got me a few coupons, worth maybe $5 - not nearly the $67 they took from me. I gave them multiple opportunities to fix this but they refused. They did not even respond to my last request.
Be warned!!! Cruises-N-More will not honor their offers and will offer little or no resolution. I highly recommend using a different travel agency. I have used others in the past and have never been cheated like this. Stay away from Cruises-N-More!
