Holiday Cruise Yacht Charters AKA RUOTI Inc has fraudulent business practice! Rip-off! Cape Coral Florida

Wish I had known about this website before doing business with this company. Had checked Better Business Bureau online and found records of complaints that had been resolved satisfactorily. Found out after the fact that there were additional reports that were pending posting to the website.

Anyway, rented a houseboat in January this year. Owner, David Manno gives orientation speech with the question "does anyone smoke". My 30 yr old daughter says she does. He advised that there is no smoking inside the boat. We return three days later and travel home.

Two weeks later we receive an invoice charging our deposit $400 for removal of cigarette smoke (throughout the interior). I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau in Clearwater. Mr. Manno's response to their request for information was "his lack of integrity does not alleviate him of his responsilbilites". Whatever that means. My wife says that anyone renting should be nonresponsive when he asks if anyone smokes.

I have hired an attorney to pursue this. We are hopeful.
