The Carroll Area Paranormal Team was scheduled and publicized to appear at the Fort Dodge Public Library on 10/08/2009 for the "Friends of Fort Dodge Public Library" Brown Bag Luncheon.

They didn't show up for this event, but the room was filled to near capacity with people that were expecting them to show up.

We asked for a new date due to my 3 yr old daughter having an unexpected medical appointment with no response. I will contact my lawyer about this harassment.

You are going to contact a lawyer because they someone put up on here that you did not go to a scheduled appointment? What are you going to do to a library? Sue them for there books? Sue them to become the owner of it? I just done understand why you feel the need to do something like that. Its like sueing McDonalds because the coffee you got was hot & you spilled it on youself. Someone was upset that you did not go to this event. Thats all. If you had a medical emergency that is between you & the library. But contacting a lawyer because of that is stupid. Its not like the library is doing any of that. Get over it.

I am having a report wrote about my team in an adverse way because I had a medical appointment and made EVERY attempt to re-schedule with NO REPLY from the library at all. So this is defamation of character for a situation that, had I gotten a reply could have been avoided, was out of my control. I ask you if I did this to you and a group you have would you sit and do nothing? Reputation is a hard thing to gain in the paranormal community and it takes only one person to ruin all the hard and honest work you have done by filing something like this just because your angry. 

My team does exceptional work for many people and I WILL NOT sit by and allow this to happen to them or myself because we miss a talk which we do for FREE due to my CHILD being ill and the library did not return my ATTEMPTS (WITH AN "S") to rectify the situation.

I am still in talks with the Attorney about this situation.

There was no anger or animosity present when I submitted the first report about the CAPT not showing up for a scheduled engagement.

I wrote in because there were a lot of disappointed people that day.

I have never heard of a lawsuit where a person sued over their own irresponsibility. I am sorry to hear about your daughter, but couldn't you have called in a timely manner to explain your absence? All you had to do was talk to one of the staff and explain your situation.

I consider your comments and their tone extremely unprofessional. I personally would not want you working for me.

I would recommend you invest your time taking a course in civility and communications.
