PRC LLC/Alorica Cronyism, Uncaring, Questionable Business Practices Durant, Oklahoma

As in the previous report on PRC,LLC now a subsidiary of Alorica it is still business as usual. The claims of how DirecTV are run in "Cutler" are exactly how things are run in Durant,Ok. Manipulation of incoming calls by the "force desk" which has now been outsourced to the Phillipines. I know using "continuing training"  is a call center SOP but this company gets very creative when it comes to keeping people in office when calls are slow. If I were a client I would love to know this information because the clients are not getting what they paid for when it comes to "continuing training" or "cross-training".

They make up bogus "training sessions" where hourly wage employees have to sit sometimes for hours and listen to management, trainers, quality assurance, etc. talk about their "epic drinking binges" of the previous weekend or the previous night on many occasions. Without fail this is what "training" is about 99% of the time. In the past several years I have attended four legitimate training sessions. 

The "epic party procedure" is how promotions are given at this facility. You kiss-up to management, listen closely to where the party is going to be for the upcoming weekend or weeknight, go to said party, get sloshed, have "unprofessional relations" with management, repeat as needed until position becomes available then the one who was the most epic partier gets the promotion. A simple, easy to understand guideline for advancing at this location.

I am not making this up. Things like this cannot be made up. What ever happened to good old fashioned hard work? I have been employed by several different companies but this one is the most morally and ethically vacant employer I have ever worked for. Unfortunately in a town the size of this one you have limited employment opportunities. This facility and the local supercenter are the largest employers in the area and this facility pays about $1.25 per hour more as a starting wage so many people here just try to put up with it. However there is an enormous attrition rate, upwards of 85% in a town with limited opportunities. This says a lot about this company. That's right, PRC, the People Recycling Center, where you are reminded that you are absolutely replaceable and the slogan that HR uses at the Durant,OK facility is "PRC, You don't have to work here..."
