Okay, so bottom line is on what the "promotion" is, is that they are promoting a scheme. Its all in a way to think you are going to make huge amounts of money in anywhere from a few months to a few years with a 4 step promotion process...You start out as an "account executive" which really means a lackey in the field pitching and trying to sell bullshit to undermining individuals (most of whom are either low income or unaware of pricing schemes).
I was employed there for 4 days before I realized that I would be working my a** off, going door to door trying to "sell" gas/electric energy with most of the time either ppl who weren't even home or getting the doors slammed in my face. Its all a scam to get their workers to swindle ppl in buying into things in which they probably don't need and will end up regretting in the long run, while the head level managers make most of the money from the apps you sell for the buyers to purchase into whatever product you are pitching and you are only making a measelly 14% commission. I am not one to work off from commission in the first place. And they are so slick in getting ppl desperate for jobs to work there that they don't even mention that your pay is ENTIRELY based on commission (of how many apps or products) you sell. Its ridiculous and unfortunate that companies like this exist and probably the worse the economy gets the more ppl will fall for this crock but hopefully companies like this and another one National (American) Income Life will be shut down because they are not only fooling individuals who buy into there products but are also fooling the ppl they hire.
Glad I caught on before it was too late....Fair warning, if you are leaving a current job to work for one of these companies, stay with ur current employment until you can find something better and legit, cause they will DESPERATELY ask you to leave ur current employment before 2 or even 1 weeks notice which cost me a little when I went to work for them for 4 days..
