Is it the way I dress? Is it the way I talk? Is it the way I act? Or is it thats how a Wal-Mart associate is trained? Going into Wal-Mart is a challenge! I must grab a basket, load it up and pay for my stuff in the lines of sight of profiling associates. At one time I spent over $800 in one trip and even that didn't satisfy them, in fact, they were more disappointed when the anti theft system did't go off when I passed through the gates. They will talked down on me loud enough to see if they can get in my head. Act out in an inappropriate matter that will make someone stop and say, "What is your problem?". Ask for assistance they will leave me standing there wondering why do I bother to ask.

Customer service is unacceptacle. With all of this and then somemore on their behalf is the reason why they don't stay open 24/7. I This paticular store is partly blame for the accident I had. Thier service rieks so much, that I had to travel 35 miles to another Wal-Mart (Clarksdale's Wal-Mart is that disturbing!!!). I went over some ice in the road one night on the way back from a distant Wal-Mart and lost it on a bridge. After the accident, I said to myself, " That @*&%$ Wal-Mart in Clarksdale!" The Distant Wal-Mart treated me with more respect. Respect? Well, it's not what I really wanted. I just want to shop without feeling like the whole store is after me or something. I was even denyed searvice in the automotive section, 20 minutes before closing! I had a flat tire and was trying to save it! Wal-Mart turned me away! And to think, I had the service plan with them! Called in the next day to complaint to the manager, she talked to me as if she really didn't care...Seriously! I wonder what was all the laughing was about in the background! What in the hell is wrong with that store. Is it thier policy or the people?

wal-mart service

AUTHOR: Jace - Cassville (U.S.A.)

I can not comment on your store because I don't work there, I'm a full country north, lol. As far as how you've been treated, I apologize, but that's not wal-mart. Our policies are very straight forward as far as customer service is concerned. Lines get long because very few people want to work as a cashier. Even though they have 30 lanes, they don't have the people to man them (apply!!!!!), as for the auto center, the times are when the doors lock, not how long they're open...here's the difference. Most associates are scheduled to a certain time and wal-mart is not big on overtime. If you take all the associates wal mart has and give them one hour of overtime, you're talking several million dollars a day. So, any work the shop takes has to be completed by that time, my store is 7:00. So, even though it may be 6:30, if I have two guys working and have four orders to finish, I can not get to you before the doors lock. I do apologize again, and understand emergencies happen, but that is the limitation of the company, and I myself, who is a manager at a tire center, like to go home and see my wife and son when the day is over. So, again, I apologize for the company and if you truly want to see some changes, tell them you want to speak to the market manager and they have to give you the info.

Why bother...

AUTHOR: Vimot - Richmond (U.S.A.)

Why bother reporting anything? Personally if only a tenth of what you say happened to you happened to me I just wouldn't shop there anymore. You have the greatest power of all over them - not giving them your hard earned cash. Why bother trying to get someone to understand what has been happening to you there? It is what it is. Just don't shop there anymore. Plain and simple, and you get to move on with your life, which I feel is much more important than fighting with a Wal Mart.

#3 Consumer Suggestion

true why bother.

AUTHOR: Paul - Tulsa (U.S.A.)

Um ..$800 sheesh..

I never shop at Walmart till I am done shopping everywhere else.
Walmart is soley a final stop for what we shop for.
ANd only because we might have not found a better deal.

But often we always find a better deal elsewhere either on quality or price or both.

But we go there to finish up the shopping... and we have yet to spend more than $50 at a walmart.

In our case, meat is always Reasors.
Cearel & can goods are Aldai.
Toiletries are always Dollar General or similar $1 stores.
Automotive, - we never do walmart and never have or will.
Soy related - Reasors usually.

We might do walmart grocery (closer) on fruit, but its rare because
aldai,reasors, homeland due better overall.

point being, with proper shoping, we have saved $3000 a year by not doing walmart as a primary or only choice.
