I received a letter along with a check in the amount of $3,879.00 payable to me and called the file agent's number listed on the letter and was told to deposit the check and then call back tomorrow so they can arrange for the receipt of the certified check in the amout of $68,000.  We contacted Publishers Clearing House and they said this was a scam and not to deposit the check because they would then have all of our checking account information.
