Black Tie Dance Studio in Sandusky, Ohio has a reputation for ripping students off, and I know from first hand experience.  After spending thousand and thousands of dollars on their business for private lessons, my lessons were very disappointing.  The instructor is very lazy.  He/she lacks arm styling techniques, latin techniques and does not emphasize timing to music.   

Watch your wallet with these people!  Who wants an instructor who has no problem taking your money, but does not want to spend too much time working with you.  Who wants an instructor who barely even dance with his students?  Especially at big events??

I know other students who also have several complaints on them, and hopefully they will come forward too!

This review is extremely far fetched. Not only DO we emphasize arm styling, (ALL) techniques, and timing but we have classes completely dedicated to those ideas.

We are quite the opposite of money grubbers. We do our best to provide the best instruction at the most affordable price we can. Our lessons are 50 minutes long, the students will always get the 'amount of time' that they pay for. We do not spend our lesson time chatting or messing about. It is 'get to work, get through all we can, and wrap up the lesson on time'.

We are good hard working people who care.

Our primary goal has been to create a good circle of social dancers in Erie county. Our focus is not to 'dance' our students at events we strive to teach them well, introduce them to other students, and help them create friendships and partnerships.
