LemonDate.com LemonDate is a Lemon site!! Washington

LemonDate is an online dating site in which claims it offers the user the ability to write and review feedback about online dating. According to TV news blurb I heard in California The site was supposedly started by a young lady who was tired of meeting men who lied about themselves in online dating sites. After joining this site for a monthly fee of $9.95 though pay pal. I learned LemonDate is a Lemon.

And in My opinion the "story" about the girl is a marketing ploy to females who have had disappointing experiences with online dating.

(First mistake) Never do business with a company that does not accept major credit cards.

The site seems to be new and is not on the same level of function as other sites. I was surprised to find there were no members on the site whatsoever. i.e. ZERO.

Since I had seen the site featured on a California news blurb there must be at least a few people?

I contacted customer service and politely asked for a refund. This is where it got ugly.

I began an email string with what seemed to be second language English high school maturity level people who ended every email with :0) Long story short they refused to refund or check my membership for technical problems.

They always replied but played dumb "We do not understand what your problem is" "Please explain again" (For the fifth time) "We don't have your correct email" my guess is they do have members but for whatever reason they refuse to service customers experiencing problems. Bottom line the site is very limited in function, membership and customer service.

I was not able to find any members on the site whatsoever on a 3000 mile wide search. The lesson? Don't waste your money on the Lemon.

I also use yahoo personals and have found their customer service to be responsive. And they have a gazillion members!

How to make me happy? Refund $9.95 or fix the obvious technical problem with my membership and stop playing games.
