Singlesnet.com Internet Dating Website Not really a dating website Internet

I signed up for this dating website and I made a profile with a pic on it and some information about myself, with the motive in mind to try to meet someone. Sure enough, I start getting emails from girls that were in my area saying they were interested and were also giving me an email to contact them at. So I start corresponding with a few of them, only to find out that these women are in Niger or Africa somewhere trying to find a way out.

All the stories with these women are the same, some of them posing as American students in Africa that are broke, needing funds through Western union for a plane ticket, all of them writing three page emails saying how much they love you, how they will give you the world, etc. That's not all though.

Other girls that I've emailed or gotten emails from that were here in the States will send a contact email so I can write them and when I do, I get a reply with a mesage saying how they want to meet up and do this and that but I need to contact them through a different website that is supposedly has their real contact info, phone mumber, email which that requires a $40 a month membership fee and some of them say a year membership. Thankfully, I'm not a sucker and everytime I get a response email like that I delete it right away.

I'm pretty sure that most of the people on that website are fake just trying to make a quick buck by getting you to go to their "personal" website and signing up with your credit card so they can get your money. I've gotten plenty of emails where the profile pic on the dating website was a different person on their "personal" website. So, I resigned my account and hopefully I will find a much better website.
