Together assigned a registered sex offender to me for my first "date" Mechanicsburg Pennsylvania

I filled out a questionnaire one night on the internet about finding "good" men over 50 to date. I was called the next day and arranged an interview. The interview lasted almost three hours and was composed of tests and lots of personal questions. Very professionally structured.

They advertise their business as being very safe because they do "background checks on everyone" and that they don't "allow just ANYONE" into the program, so that you are assured a reasonably stable, decent person to meet. And you pay a LOT of money for this to happen.

The first person I was sent information on and talked to by phone, sounded very nice on the phone and we decided to meet for breakfast several days later. After breakfast, which went very well, he was funny, handsome and courteous, he informed me that he as a "registered sex offender". You can imagine my surprise and shock. First thing that came into my mind was that this dating service was a load of crap telling me that they don't take "just anybody" and that they took this man's money knowing full well he was going to have a hard time, given that he is as honest as he is, finding a woman.

I was FURIOUS in so many ways, you have no idea! Luckily this man was a very decent man otherwise and honest about it. But what about other women and this companies claims to background checks???

So I told them about this and they promised to "kiss my butt" from this point on and upgrade my membership. And they swore nothing like this has EVER happened.

My next two "matches", were a depressed security guard admittedly looking for a woman to take care of him and provide him medical benefits because he has given up on life and a functioning alcoholic. : (

And I spent thousands of dollars for THIS!!!!???? I filled out a report after the sex offender to the Attorney General's office online and was about to report them to the BBB, but I felt they genuinely made a mistake and allowed them to "upgrade' me.
NOW I am going to try to get my money back or try to get some sense of justice regarding this mockery of a business. They prey off of people's genuine desire to find a life partner and put us at risk in the process all for the almighty dollar.
I feel they have totally misrepresented their business.
