David DeBono: deadbeat dad

David DeBono owes an extreme amount of child support. He has been court order for about 14 years now and our daughter is 15 and he has only paid about $3,000 in child support. I have filed and have ran out of options. No one helps. I have paid more in attorney fees then he has in child support. When I ask now the 4-d office in my town about it well they basicly tell me he is never going to pay. We I no that because nothing has been done to him.
He has been in and out of prison and in-house det. and in trouble all the time. Last time I tried to get info. on him from the probation office they refused information on him I asked if he was in jail or dead, no info.Everyone has given up on trying to collect for me but me and now my daughter wants answers and want to sue for back child support. I'm tired of no one giving a rats xxx about my daughters child support.

well.....i paid child support despite all my troubles for over12 years(many, MANY years at 480 dollars per month...THAT IS $5,760 A YEAR FOR MANY YEARS!) , then the state of florida contacted me with a notice that the support was being suspended indefinitly. I went to the hearing and found that kimberly(the mom) had been allegedly falsifying state documents to recieve xtra "WELFARE" money. that is none of my concern....what is my concern is that i have not been in any trouble for 15 years, and tried numerous times to contact kim and "my" daughter only to get rebuffed. after a few years of paying child support, and having no contact with "my" daughter i gave up trying to contact her....and paid the support as if it was for a student loan
I guess "our" daughter should question her mother as to what happened to the thousands of dollars that she was paid for support. It is a pity that this is such a ugly ordeal....it did not have to be!

I'm David's sister-in-law, and would just like to say that Kim is making a big mistake by not letting Rebecca know her father and his family.
We are a very close, hard working family. And just for the record David's parents and David have been trying for many years to be able to have contact and/or a relationship with "their" granddaughter, but Kim will not allow it. She is only concerned with money for herself, and not for the welfare of her daughter. Rebecca, I have been in this family since right after you were born. You have a family who would like to know you!!!!! When you get older, you will find out for yourself.

LET GET REAL.. DAVID LOST ALL RIGHTS TO HIS DAUGHTER. HIS LAST TRY AT NOT PAYING CHILD SUPPORT IS THAT HE WAS CLAIMING THAT SHE WAS RECEIVING SOCIAL SECURITY. NICE TRY. IT STOP THE PRECEDING FOR A SHORT TIME BUT NOW THEY HAVE PROOF THAT SHE IS NOT,HE WILL HAVE TO PAY.
AS FOR ME, I WAS ONLY ON WELFARE FOR A TOTAL OF 6 MONTHS WHILE I WAS IN SCHOOL. THIS IS THE FIRST I HEARD OF GETTING IN TROUBLE WITH THEM. SO, DAVID STEP US TO THE PLATE AND START PAYING YOUR CHILD SUPPORT. AND TO THE SO CALLED SISTER IN LAW IF YOUR MARRIED TO DANNY ASK HIM ABOUT WHAT HE DONE TO ME AND HIS DAUGHTER. AND ANY WAYS YOU DON'T KNOW ME OR ANY THING THAT HAPPEN THAT THINGS ARE THE WAY THEY ARE SO YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO SAY ANY THING. AS FOR HIS FAMILY THEY QUIT HAVING CONTACT WITH US WHEN SHE WAS ONE.
REBECCA NEEDED HER FATHER, AND TO BAD THINGS ARE THE WAY THEY ARE SHE NOWS THE TRUTH AND THAT IS ALL THAT MATTERS. AND SHE KNOWS WHO RAISED HER. AND SHE ALSO KNOW IT TAKE ALOT MORE THAN MONEY TO RAISE A CHILD IT TAKES ALOT OF LOVE AND SHE HAS ALOT OF THAT.
IF I WAS SO MONEY HUNGRY YOU WOULD BE IN JAIL OR BROUGHT TO INDIANA (FOR 3000.) TO SERVE YOUR TIME. I HAVE LET THINGS GO FOR TO LONG.

First off. I am not sure why rip-off reports allows dead-beat listings. This type of complaint is for another place altogether.
A parent has the duty to help support thier children. Fairly and equitably. The also have a right and duty to RAISE their children fairly and equitably. I think this whole situation is appaling. If Dad is late on support. Dad should try and catch up. And if Mom is refusing visitation. Shame on Mom. I think refusal of visitation is one of the worst kinds of crimes you can perpetrate on your children. Visitation should NEVER be used as leverage for collection of child support. Who's welfare is one thinking about when doing so? The child or their own?
Get with the program.
As my wife would say. Do the right thing because it is the right thing to do.
And oh yes, we are a blended family. I completely understand the issues of divorce and what not. And NO I am not a deadbeat Dad. As a matter of fact I have my children about 75% of the time. (just to save you the time of throwing some accusations my way).
Your poor child! My prayers are with her.

I know david! I met him many years ago .and as a human rights activist and an honest person.AND!! some one who have live alone since 15y/0 and learned to be honest on her own .I CAN mos def give you an accurate picture of this guy :) .
when I met him I was a cute raver. someone who was kind of a dreamer kind of a lost girl. lost because I was alone and abandoned and he was one of those who dealed with my bs without any interest at all. he deald with sooooo much from me.but he was definetelly someone who helped me to move forward and not even for a day of my life I remember him NOT talking about his kid . and I luv him for that.I know we humans have the capacity to "elaborate" about our reality : / but this guy david : / thrust me .he doesn't .he is very humble and honest . please kim I haven't met u yet sooo I can't make a judgment of u...but look inside yourself...calm down ..and discover the wonderful father .not that dave can be but the dad he IS . please . :( I know u are resented and hurt ..but is ur daughters wellbing what is about right now :) love her .learn to forgive .learn to see the truth
