Walt Winkelman is a true Con Artist. He believes he is a talented Business man who has held previous jobs in mangement consulting and fancies himself as a super duper entreprenuer. He cannot hold a steady job because he cannot seem to get along with anyone. In the end he burns everyone he deals with. He is very self -absorbed.
He has two children, whom he refuses to support, owes his children over $100,000 in child support. Refuses to pay medical he was ordered to pay. Claims he is unable to find work at wages earned prior to divorce. Attends Argosy University in Chicago in order to earn Doctorate Degree in Psychology. Has little to no contact with his two children, ages 16 and 19. Last saw son 3 years ago and made no attempt to see son last time son was in Chicago. Never even sends cards or gifts for children's bdays or holidays.
Refuses to accept phone call regarding medical issues concerning children, stating, "I am sure whatever it is I am sure that(the custodial parent) can handle it.
Lies to his children about supposed visits. He also likes to lie about sending birthday and xmas gifts.
Refuses to help daughter with college expenses.
He is also very good about changing jobs frequently, by choice or getting fired, to avoid getting his wages garnished.
Anybody who has contact or is thinking of having any kind of business dealings with this indivdual should run like crazy. He appears very credible in the beginning, but in the end you will curse the day you ever met him.

I read an internet posting about this guy and he seemed to be to be a pathetic human being.

So I did some research into his background and I noticed through a progression of online images how remarkably well he can change his appearance!

Amazing to watch him morph from Beatnik/hippie complete with beret and long white hair to using some hair dye and glasses and now how he is sporting shorter white hair and possibly a goatee and a bow tie!

You want my opinion, I think he was one of those student radicals, like Bill Ayers without the millions of Daddy's money behind him, who was going to school back in the 1960-1970s and got mixed up in the drugs and hippie subculture and never grew up or finished his legitimate academic credentials. i see that he has been involved in education, like he wanted to be a college professor but hangs around in the marginal diploma mill-online venues.

I noticed there is someone named Reed  Winkelman who may be a son who helps him in some of these endeavors.

Even the Name of his alleged non-profit that he purports to be running now gives me the creeps.

I think the man is some sort of psychopath Whether or not that issue is the result of genetics or his having taken a lot of drugs, including LSD, back in those lost, radical, hippie years, I am not sure. This is just my opinion based on what he has left all over the internet and I used several search engines to find him.

I am intrigued.

I am of the same generation he is and can read him like a book -- a very strange book.

He definitely has issues and if you are his first ex-wife or one of his children, you would do well to stay away from him. He will never be able to establish a real relationship with anyone and never wanted or planned to have a family he could nurture and raise like most fathers.

His last internet posting was March 3, I think 2010 and it looked like he was interrupted while making it... An Arrest?

He is still somewhere in the Chicago, Illinois area and I think that says it all.
