It is so very amusing that these reasons before never kept us from receiving a rebate for purchasing all of product from their chosen vendor. When the chips are down for us they decide to become the Franchise terrorist of SUBS, and take something earned by showing some bogus document with some lame reason. In all honesty the reason that this company is not successful any more is the fault of the people who are in corp. who make the decisions. Once again example: The Million Sub give away. This should have been the Franchisees choice on whether or not there would be National add campaigns to give free food away. Some of us(Franchisees) were unable to do this because our funds were stretched out with labor, and food cost already. They offered this coupon redemption but it was a rip off. In the case of our store we received hundreds of those free small sub coupons. We needed the product up front to support their scheme. If we would have given full participation in this event our bank account would have been in the red for sure. This Quizno's Sub will show you there beautiful disastrous words from there (interested to be a franchisee area of their web site) and then at the bottom in fine print tell who ever is reading that these words were not written to try and sell being a new franchisee for the etc., etc. I challenge all prospects to just travel around and ask franchisees every where about their Quizno's experience. Then look online for all Quiz Corp/franchisee litigation's call and ask them also.
Check out this Document They are not making it because of unfair, and less than desirable treatment of their franchise/franchisee relationship. Just remember all prospective Quizno's franchisees that if you sign the franchise agreement with Quizno's it is more than likely that they will treat you the same way. Also make sure that this is not your only employment because if it is they will figure a way to bleed your last cent and then come after you for all that they can get from you when you are done. Just read the great things that they say about choosing a franchise from them on quizno's.com and look at what all franchisees are saying about this venture and then you will have all of the info you need to do the math. This is FAIR, and the way it should be!!!!!!! Good Luck:))

Here is an e-mail from our make shift contracted health inspector.
This guy that mailed this e-mail has a position where if he comes in and we are busy he should help us out.
He can't ever even answer any questions for us although he can direct us on how we need to run our stores at any cost.
What Quizno's is doing here to us is forceable RAPE!!!!
Just because they want to finance this venture does not mean that we will make the funds for their ACH from our business account.
Also we must drive more that 3 hours on a open work day to attend this meeting via- the FBL that sent this e-mail.
First I have become ill over the ownership of this franchise.
It is starting to wear holes in my marriage.
We will not be able to make this meeting seeing as how only one of our automobiles is in working condition.
Also my wife does not have a DL, as she has not been able to take the examination because we are unableto leave our store unattended.
We now due to the economic conditions will not have the extra money available to hire any extra help in our store.
If Quizno's does not offer us the financing then we could be in default of our franchise agreement.
This is un ballanced and absolutely unfair.
We want this allexposed as this Corp. should not be able to do this to people.
A mentioned before we do understand we signed their agreement although we also know that if any new prospects for franchisees see what they are doing they will run from this mess!!!

Recently
on satellite radio I listened to a radio advertisement, allegedly, by a
national franchisor promoting the resale of what I believe to be
previously closed franchise locations. The franchisor is allegedly
Quiznos and this morning I checked out their website relating
to their promotion and sale of opportunities relating to the
"re-opening" of closed Quiznos locations. Basically, the website is
promoting and offering prospective franchisees the opportunity to
acquire rights to own or operate closed Quiznos locations. Presented
as a "low start-up cost" opportunity, the website operator makes the
following "promotional" statments about this Quiznos "re-open"
opportunity:
Own a Big Brand without a Big Investment.
Jump into a proven business system for as little as $12,500 down.
Own your own business in as little as 90 days.
Quiznos has a limited inventory of stores available through this program.
While I readily admit that I have not reviewed Quiznos disclosure
documents respecting this alleged "reopen opportunity", here is my
take on this advertisement and potential opportunity:
- Understand Why the "Closed Location" Originally Failed.
Franchise failure resulting in closed stores may be attributed to many
factors and may not necessarily be attributed to the the Franchisor, i.e.,
failure could be attributed to a deficient and non-performing
franchisee. However, when a franchisor possesses an "inventory of
closed stores" and is looking to resell these opportunities you must
question whether or not the closed stores (and especially the
particular store that you are considering) may be attributed to
failings or deficiencies on the part of the franchisor, the franchise
system or the business location, i.e., Is the continuing
royalty too high? Is the food cost too high? Is the rent reasonable? Is
the advertising program insufficient? Does the location generate enough
traffic? You must understand what contributed the original "store
closing" and insure that the facts and legal obligations that you are
undertaking are different. That is, learn from the mistakes of others.
- Your Investment Goes Far Beyond your Initial Out of Pocket Expense. When buying a franchise your investment goes far beyond "out of pocket" expenses.
Although this opportunity is presented as one with limited start up
costs, you must also consider the loan obligations that you will be
agreeing to and assuming. While your "out of pocket" may be nominal
you could be acquiring substantial debt obligations. Also, always
remember that your time has value and in and of itself represents a
substantial investment - especially if your store is not generating a
profit.
- Don't Just "Jump In". I think that you probably know this already, but we all need to be reminded of this critical point. So, "don't, do not just jump in". Due diligence is key.

and many other Quiznos Franchised stores in the United States are
failing due to our Corporate Office slowly squeezing us all out of
business.
Most
all of us have spoken to attorneys, and at the present time there is
large motion of litigation ongoing against Quiznos Corp. because of
their bizarre behavior with in our business relationships. Much of
this litigation has been going on for several years with no outcome
be it negative or positive thus far. It seems that if a Franchisee
needs to sue them, they can only do this one against one (Because
class actions are thrown out), and only in their venue, Denver
Colorado. In the fact that we all did sign our Franchise agreements
Quiznos Corporate office is treating us all (Franchisees) like
SLAVES. By the way who have payed them to be slaves! It would seem by
they way have behaved towards their (Franchisees) that they know they
live even above United States Law.

Obama, we (Quiznos Franchisees) all know that Quiznos Corp. is a
very powerful Company, but on the other hand we know that they have
no power compared to your self and your administration.
Sir,
example of what their behavior caused. My wife, and I found out
recently that a couple of years back a former Quiznos franchisee
committed suicide during the lunch rush in a Quiznos Restaurant
bathroom due to the UN AMERICAN treatment he received from our lovely

Many
other Franchise Owners have lost their homes due to needing to take
out a mortgage just to keep their stores going. The reasoning behind
this is Quiznos Corporate is constantly reducing our menu board
retail prices and raising our food purchasing cost from their
approved products vendor which is almost destroying and closing the
gap for any possibility of franchisees having a profit margin.
Therefore the only one making a profit in this business is Quiznos
Corporate office. The ironic thing is in the beginning of a
prospective franchisees joining the Quiznos Franchise opportunity,
the Corporate Office says that as a Franchisee you will not be able
to beat the price of the approved vendors, and that they have all of
the right ingredients to make your Franchisee a great success. Sir, I
beg to differ. The only success that we Franchisees see is their
protection by the tricky verbiage within their Franchise Agreement.
Now,
in our Stores particular situation, to keep our restaurant just above
the red in our bank account, myself and my wife have worked 10
months, 7 days per week, 10 to 11 hours per day with only
one time of 2 days off. Mr. President this is against their
operations rules but what do what we need to do. And this is due to
not being able to support labor cost. One of these days off was
Easter, the other when I needed to go to the emergency room in a
local hospital. This is not a good thing as our store is our only
source of income. I will even add that most likely by us reaching out
for your help there is a strong possibility that Quiznos will now
try and find a reason to close our store, or hold us in Default. From
what we have read they are known for doing things of this nature, and
giving the exact location opportunity to a new Franchisee. It is our
fear that our economy may never heal with Corporate Franchised
companies like this of Quiznos having so much control over their
franchisees. By the way we are in love with your support of expansion
for small business funding through the SBA. The sad thing is that
early this year I spoke to a lady here locally who is a
representative for the SBA and she said that Quiznos does not have a
very good reputation even for guaranteed SBA loans. She said that she
understands that Quiznos units have a high failure rate and Quiz Corp
has to much involvement in franchisees day to day activities and
operations. It would appear that she was trying to discourage us.
Mr.
President, we know that this all is not to the level of an issue that
you would resolve personally. We are saying to you that we( all
Franchisees) need for you to please consider the appointment of an
investigating Director that
will have the authority to put into place protective rules and set
forth fair standards for all involved in the said Franchised Company,
as well as others. Even though these are different circumstances, it
looks like Quiznos has sold to us all a beautifully advertised
investment opportunity that once you look from inside resembles
Bernard Madoff's Ponzi Scheme.
Please Mr. President we pray for your assistance so that we will not
need to live life in this country under two Governments.*

More fun from the QUIZNOS CARNIVAL!Recently our products were changed.
Quiznos started the new Double Cheese Steak sub with a new meat.
And they also changed the soup products as well.
The first auto shipment of the dip up steak as Quiznos calls it was great quality, and tasted like something well I guess real meat.
After we sold the first shipment we needed to re order.
We did and when we got the shipment I thawed the meat and not only did it look different but I could see that indeed the meat was not the same.
Before we even had a chance to say anything Quiznos sent out an message that they were seeking constantly to improve on the meat quality. Well as far as I am concerned this is another one of their bald faced lies. They found a cheaper way for themselves and left it at the same purchase price to us. The dip us steak is with no doubt quality inferior now compared to the first shipment. I would know because I am with this meat all day every day, and I did eat it at first. WARNING!!! If you become a franchisee for this company you have made a grave error! WARNING!!!!!!
Next. Quiznos has always been know for their broccoli cheese soup. It really was always tasty, but as you may know it did not always hold up.
They changed it now. Boy did they. When you thaw it it sets up like almost pizza dough. It is next to impossible to mix it with water. You can heat and whisk it several times. This is not the worst of it. It looks and smells more like that of recycled VOMIT.
But no big deal. It's cheaper, that is to sell to the guest at Quiznos mandatory reduced menu board price, but it cost us ( Franchisees) $20.00 more a box.
I swear these people are tyrants! Before you get in they really try to make you feel good. Once you are in they :
1) Constantly lower you retail menu board prices while they in a most friendly way raise you product purchase prices after the swear to you they will give you the best price from their approved vendor that you will find elsewhere in the industry.
2) They have a real tasty habit of mailing out BOGOs all over the U.S. homes and businesses and they send no product to even out your food cost.
3) Sometimes they may as before just send out 1,000,000 free sub coupons.
By the way when you give all of this away it comes out of your pocket. WHOWEE!!
Food cost to die for, as this behavior will kill your store. Now with this giving away all of this free food also takes more labor. Yep! You got it. You will need to come out of your pocket with the cash to pay for the extra help too.
4) When the economy is not so good and the chips are down for everyone involved, they will use your the franchise agreement that you signed to take extra money from you while you are not really making any.
5)Also in the midst of an economic recession they will try to help you out by telling you now your store will need to have a mandatory remodel to their specs.
6) As if they have not screwed you enough already they will offer to you financing through Quiznos:) The real reason for this is because no one else in the lending business wants anything to do with loaning funds to Quiznos Franchisees due to the high failure rate of their stores and the Quiznos bad reputation.
If you want to call all of these issues the great ingredients to make a
franchise successful well you would be correct but not for the
franchisee.
If you want to choose a franchise with all of these great positive standards, and a corporate office where you are just a number and can only speak to a help desk whom is of no support then QUIZNOS would be your perfect fit.

This company never ceases to baffle me with amazement. It seems as if they are afraid for there franchisees to make a profit. If they treated us like the real hand that is feeding them they could relax when they turn their backs.
They always come up with some new" special "that will keep a franchisee "nailed to the cross", always in there store with out fail. Some of us rely on our store as our only source of income.
This means that with all of the buy one get one specials, and the national specials such as the "Toasty/Toasty" backed by National Broadcasting we stand a strong chance not to make it.
There is no profit margin for us in the middle of there lowering our retail menu board, and raising the cost pricing of our product.
We as there franchisees do not have to participate, but if we do not people come to our store and see the non-participation sign that Quizno's orders us or else and they get in their cars and drive away to a store that can afford the special and then we a bad mouthed like criminals.
It seems that because we as the franchisees are the beating heart of the money that they make, we would be able to vote for, or at least have some input on the decisions made for these advertisements that the country as a whole sees day in and day out.
With all of this said I do understand now after living under their communistic regime they only care about the royalties that we generate for them.
As an end result in this one never knows, when they will most need us, we will bail!
We just want all prospective Quiznos franchisees to have all of this knowledge before the make their mistake.

It seems now after buying into this Bravo Sieara that Quiznos has grabbed us all by the "Family Jewels" so to speak! I do believe that all o the Corp. people @ our mother company need a good dose of "Waterboarding" themselves.
They arew always creating some new event without our vote, or agreement!We are without no doubt the hand that feeds them,
They advertise their new event nationally, and then tell us that we are going to damage our store if we do not participate with them in this great venture.
It would seem to me, as I know to others that they are all greedy people that only care about is their royalties! There are so many Franchisees that I guarantee want to stand up but they are afraid because of their financial investments into their stores.
I do understand this, but this company is notorious for opening stores, or selling existing stores,and then opening new ones in such a close proximity to the old ones that it then causes a feeling of hatered between franchisees, when in reality they together need to stand against the franchisor Quizno's Master LLC., as this would seem to be the real enemy!
At one point this Company was starting to turn around and it looked like a complete team player field.
After they tookback this so called FOUNDER guy it is flushing down the toilet like fecal matter!

Now we are moving near our 2009 EVENT 5
We are now in fear to see what direction they turn the screw driver on us this time.
I will not be surprised if this company would try medical experiments on its Franchisees if it could.
Quizno's Corp. has now come up as we see it with a new royalties booster for themselves, as like before paying no attentions to those that are feeding the Corp. accounts.
They are once again lowering our menu board prices without making any adjustments downward to our product purchase pricing.
Greed will come back to bite them now, or later and just maybe it will not be as kind as they would want.
I see , and hear about Quizno Franchisees out there taking on one or more outside jobs to keep from loosing their stores, and ruining there future possibilities for lending.
Only a company with evil leadership would treat its people like this.
We feel as if sometimes we are imprisoned by Quizno's, headed towards death row.
I was recently hospitalized due to stress from this all, and it is frightening to be in a position this way and not be able with your "so called on business" be able to purchase health and medical insurance.
I do hope if there is someone out there with a heart that is in a position to help would be able to expose these BEAST where they will not be able to do this to anyone else!
Now we are faced with another week confronting a majority of our guest whom have lost respect for us because of the ridiculous discounted specials driven into our stores by our master dictators, in their minds GODS, which we are unable to participate in due to loss in sales and loss of faith from the public.

Hello,
Well as posted on our myquiznos intranet, and from the words of our FBL's mouth Clif Day who is nothing more than a make shift Quizno's contracted health inspector it seems that Quizno's Corp. is going to make it mandatory to upgrade, or remodel our store if we are able to afford it or not.
By the way this guy can come and tell us per Quizno's Corp. how to live our Quizno's life, but he is never able to answer any questions from us. We ask and he says well I do not really know but I will find out the answer. After he receives our signature on his review papers he then says he is going to run out to his car to get something for us and he just drives away.
It is so funny to me howif you have questions and call the Quizno's help desk they forward you to your FBL. Ours seems to have not even basic answers to any questions.
Seems like a lying scam to me.
Wonder if all interested, and prospective maybe in the future Quizno's franchisees knew about this would they still be interested at all?
Well I do not think so. I think they would quickly be more interested in a car tire franchise than any food oppotunity!
Quizno's is going to offer to us financing to borrow the monies from them to pay for this.
This does not give us the sales to pay them. We are working open to close 13 hours per day, with one part time employee to help us clean in the evening 3 days per week as this is all we can pay for.
Every day we closely view our bank account for the first time in fear of being in the red, and here come Quizno's stab to force on us a remodel so they can boost their profit margin.
This will cause us to loose our store. It is not fair at all.
People are out capaigning against this new government we are under.
Just take a moment to imagine as myself and my wife are under 2 bad Government situations!
It just seems that there is no way out.
With out my faith in God, our precious creator I would just lie down and want to die.
As I have stated before my goal is to try and assist Quizno's with no new groth, as this seems to be what they are asking by their actions.
And if they seem to feel that they are victims, indeed they will be.

It seems that we are now waiting for Quizno's to start another experimental EVENT on Us ( Their indentured SERVENTS!
As we approach this time they speak about all of this to us through our Corp. intranet.
No chance for us to have any choices, as we deserve because it is our cost but to either opt in, or sign out. They will then follow this up with National advertisement and if you opt out it may just destroy your store.
They will follow this up with the new event with a visit from our wonderful CONTRACTED marketing captain, of as they refer to them FBL!

One thing that was a positive issue from Quizno's to us is called the "Go forward Rebate". This is where you only have product in your store from Quizno's, etc, etc. and you will get some type of rebate @ the end of the Quarter. Well now they are adding new stipulations on being able to receive this rebate. For many stores they really counted on this rebate to help them out. They are trying to make it more difficult for us to get this, but not helping us to get a reduced price on our product because they stand a chance to make to much money from our food purchases! Here again GREED.
You know I really am proud to be a part of a country where you have !st, and 2nd Am. rights.
I am now interested to see if Quiznos can now live down giving all of our product away to every one. The attitude that I see from our guest is they will wait before they have spent all of their money in other restaurants and come to our service line and say arent you guys the ones that are giving that stuff away for free?
In many cases now the customer seems angry with us and they order what they want, come to pay and want something free. You try to charge them and they are like no thanks and walk away. Result food waste, all because of what Quiznos has done to their Franchisees.
It is not the fault of the guest, but the fault of Quizno's Master!!!!!
You see greed is like heavy rocks they all roll down to destroy the bottom.
Soon because of our so called Corp. we will start charging people after they order before they receive their food:)
