This company refuses to cancel my membership and reimburse my money even though they used Consumer Incentive Promotions, a scam company, to promote their offer. This company apparently advertises on television, and uses companies and any means to get you to join. I talked to a manager, and she seemed uncapabable of understanding that I was tricked into signing up for their product by being promised a gift for signing up for 6 promotions. When I realized this was all a scam, I called this company that I also signed up for, and she does not accept the fact that she should give my money back because her company used the scam company to promote their product, and though she denied it, the company gets something for advertising thus is part of the scam. I want my money back, and will persist until I do because I was tricked by Consumer Incentive Promotions into signing up for Dentalplans.com

DentalPlans.com, Inc. Response and Comments

AUTHOR: Noelle - Dania (U.S.A.)

On behalf of DentalPlans.com, Inc. I would like to formally apologize if there was any confusion of the mentioned sale and possible return of your dental plan.

Our customer service representatives, to the best of their knowledge, explained the situation of how the reward programs that we participate in work; they also notified our marketing department which is where I work to follow up and investigate for you why you have not yet received your free gift.

We want nothing more than for you to receive your free gift from the website that you filled out the offers on. I personally e-mailed you explaining that I am in contact with the reward website and that I have notified them that you did indeed purchase a dental plan from us. As I also said in my e-mail, the reward site should be contacting you soon.

Again, in order to receive your free gift, you cannot return your dental plan. If you do not wish to receive your free gift any longer, we will refund your dental plan.

Please contact us for further help with this situation, and again, we do apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

*Update: Per our conversation, on 4/5/05 we have refunded your dental plan.
