Steer clear of the Riverdale Dental Associates in LaBelle and probably anywhere else they are located but for sure the LaBelle office.
The first and last time I went to Riverdale Dental Associates, after a hour wait (we did have an appointment), I was brought in and had X-rays taken, when the dentist finally came in he looked at my teeth and told me that he didn't think that my top teeth were able to be saved, spouted all the regular dentist crap--no bone or not enough bone--also it would cost a lot more to fix the top ones than it would cost to pull them all and put a false plate in. Which that would cost over $4000.00, and that is over and above my insurance. To save my teeth that I have would cost so much more because I needed at least five root canals, now this is for the upper teeth only-he didn't seem too concerned with the bottom ones.
I left the dentist chair very unhappy, my husband was then taken in. They took X-rays, and the dentist spoke with him for a minute or two telling him that he needed to see a specialists, who would be in the office following week.
So, we paid what they said we owed and left.
The following week I decided to go to the dental clinic here in LaBelle. I made me an appointment and we stopped by to get our X-rays. After waiting and waiting and many arguments, we were finally able to get our X-rays.
The dentist at the LaBelle Dental Clinic is a wonderful dentist, he fixed my top teeth, not one root canal, but there were 5 fillings. I'm so very happy with my teeth and I spent $920. That's complete, and he didn't even use my insurance.
You tell me, $920 compared to over $4000. What do you think?
Actually I probably wouldn't have even filed a complaint against the Riverdale Dentist, but they had the nerve to bill me additional charges and threaten me with collection action if I don't pay.
