This is a story to warn people not to shop at Robinsons may Department stores. I applied for a credit card for Robinsons May department store about two years ago. I made a mistake and charged more than i could handle, anyway i consulted a debt management company, and Robinsons May agreed to the repayment plan that was negociated.

When i got one of my credit reports i dicovered that Robinsons May reported to the credit bureau that i was 18 or more times 90 plus days late!!! I always made my repayments on time the whole time that i was on the payment plan. Now that this account is paid in full Robinsons May will not change any thing on my credit report even they did agree on that payment plan. Do you know how ridicoulous that looks on my credit report???

Just to let everyone know that the whole Robinsons may team, salespeople, operators, credit counselers, management are very rude, dishonest, deceitful and overall the most unproffesional company i have ever had to deal with. Please go shop at nordstroms, j.c.penny, macys, or with whoever but not with Robinsons May department stores. Thank you for letting me vent!!

I am really sorry that you had trouble with Robinson's May credit card. I work in one of their stores and I am here to tell you that Rob May does not handle their own accounts. It is from an outside company that issues these cards and maintains them. Robinson's May has nothing to do with your credit card. It is the responsibility of the consumer to watch their spending habits. I do not know the details of your agreement with them but it sounds like you have a problem with your finances. Now you have sour grapes because you had to resort to a debt consolidation program to fix your problems. I also know that programs like the one you are in tell you to check your statements monthly for mistakes. Did you do that? Did you pay the consolidation company on time so that your payment to Rob May was on time as well? Just a thought? Good Luck!
