,

I bought a bike at Sears a while ago. I went to the merchandise
pickup and recieved the box with the bike in it. (Since I don't
have a car) I put the box on my shoulder and walked home.

While I was assembling the bike I noticed alot of unnessary pieces in there that served absolutly no purpose. I was almost done the bike when I also noticed my bike was missing the nut & bolt that holds the seat to the frame and the reflector that is attached to that bolt.

So I return to Sears and inquire about it and the worker sends me to this person who after a while sends me to this person and I hop around betwine people until I get to some kind of big important inventory guy who makes it nice and simple and puts my name, address, phone #, what bike, and which parts on a piece of paper and tels me they will be sent out shortly by mail. So, feeling satisfied, I go home and find a replacement for now.

While waiting for the part, I experience other difficulties with the bike. The front tire rim was bent which made a funny noise grinding against the brake and would occasionally swerve me into oncomming traffic.

The gear shifts will not go to the lowest gear even after adjusting them, but would make the chain either pop off or grind on the spokes. There is a spot on the chain that will not bend which makes the chain skip while riding. There was a whole bunch more things wrong but they were only minor. And don't forget, it's been 2 months since I got the bike and I still didn't get that part.
