Target Stores, They Said we had the wrong reciept but the reciept never left the bag they put it in! Holland Ohio

We purchased two pair of jeans for my husband. He did not try them on in the store I thought we could bring them back if they didn't fit so I intentionally left the reciept in the bag. Sure enough the jeans didn't fit so I brought them back with reciept. I was told that the pair of jeans I brought in were not the ones listed on my reciept. they even went so far as to say I must have found the reciept and was trying to return jeans from somewhere else! At least we were offered store credit for the amount of the puirchase but they had no jeans his size so we were instructed by the manager to just buy toilet paper ! Luckily our loss was small but I refuse to shop there and let others know!

Target is an evil, evil company and they have an absurd return policy and are home to the most unhelpful and useless employees.

How frustrating that they would suggest you stole a receipt or pants from somewhere else-I would go to another Target and speak to a manager about the issue. Last time I explained how they screwed me they gave me a little gift card worth $10.

I hate Target with a passion. Never let anyone you know register there for a wedding or baby shower. They will be so sorry!
