Target Britax carseat -- and other online issues Internet

I've had several issues ordering from Target online but I'd heard that they were fixed and that more items were returnable in store now. So, when I heard about the great deal I figured maybe they were nearing expiration dates or something...after all, other similar seats were on sale too, although not that deeply reduced.
I have written several emails to Target.com getting basically canned answers saying they hope I understand. I do not. Classic example of the best marketing plans going wrong--if bad customer service alienates formerly loyal customers, all the well positioned brands in the world won't offer a sustainable course for the company. And if I were Britax I would step in and try to get the customers' emails so I could mail us $X off to ensure we stay loyal to them. Target didn't even offer a sale price that other similar seats were going for at the same time.
In a nutshell, I got the same email saying my order wouldn't be honored--what a HUGE mistake. I'm not going to let this one go and I hope others won't either. And shame on them for not recognizing this as a potential PR opportunity -- instead the word is spreading fast that they are not trustworthy. They need to realize this will impact our in-store buying as well.

How dare Target sell thousands of those car seats for well worth even wholesale prices? Not to mention the fact that Britax is one of those companies who does not allow store coupons and discounts to be used on their products and will often pull their products from retailers who do so.

Why would Britax want to mail you some kind of discount on their product? My guess is most people that ordered this $50 car seat were people that are not normally Britax customer's, so they are not losing anything because most of you probably never bought (or will buy) from them.
