I cannot belive in this day and age that a company like Target can adopt such a riggid return/exchange policy. I received a gift as an early Christmas present, I already had a simiar item and Ifigured I would just exchange it...WRONG! I was not given a gift recipt, nor was I about to ask the "giver" for it now, so I knew I could not get a refund. I did, however, think I would be allowed to exchange the item for the same dollar amount of merchadise...again WRONG! My wife was told by everyone at the local Target store in Manassas, virginia (even the store Manager) that without at least a gift reciept there was nothing they could do for her. WHAT????
I will not shop at Target again, when there are companies such as Wal-Mart and K-Mart offering the same merchandise and a much more consumer friendly return/exchange policy!
Byt the way, the amount in dispute is $16..!
