Walmart.com False advertising on Cyber Monday 2011 HP Desktop + Touchpad Offer Internet

I needed the desktop right away and was about to purchase one from another retailer on the same day for less money, but I was persuaded by the added Monitor and Touchpad included in this offer by Walmart.com. After the item arrived and it was time to install, I opened the box and discovered there was no Touchpad included!

I was clearly misled by false advertising, and I have read many stories of other customers who had the same exact experience with this item from Walmart.com on the same day. Whether Walmart.com intentionally or unintentionally misled the public is irrelevant to me. The fact is, I like many others made a purchase decision of hundreds of dollars based on the posted online offer. I didn't get what I was told I would get.

Now the phone number they gave me for customer service has me wait forever without a human response. What a shame. I'll be sticking with Amazon or Target from now on.
