Recieved a letter claiming to be Walmart GE Money Bank stating they recently opened an account in my name with WALMART and that the address or name on application did not match the info contained in the consumer bureau report. They wanted me to call immediatley if I did not do this.

I called the number and someone as=nswered right away, barely speaking English, and asking me for my full ss#, full name, date of birth etc. I hung up without giving them any info.

I then called the Walmart number I looked up online and had their credit dept look up to see if an account had been opened and they said no, it's probably a scam.
